IT education for children 8-15 years old. Robotics Mindstorms Level 2.
Looking for IT education for children from 8 to 15 years old with an interesting training program? Kids&Robots Robotics Club offers to pay attention to the Level 2 Robotics Mindstorms course.
At the MINDSTORMS Level 2 Robotics lessons, the guys go deeper into modeling and programming their robots and learn to write more complex algorithms.
As you know, based on the first year of robotics, robotics is an applied science engaged in the development of automated technical systems and is the most important technical basis for the intensification of production.
Robotics focuses on the following disciplines:
- electronics,
- Mechanics,
- Informatics.
What is EV3 Robotics? - This is a course of studies on which a sufficiently powerful robotic platform is used, which allows not only to simulate, but also program real robots.
Set details help to create absolutely any mechanical assembly. Also in the kit you can find other details, such as:
- three servomotors (muscles of our robot),
- sensors (we will not list, because there are a lot of them)
- microcontroller (BRAIN) which are independent microcomputer in which the program is loaded.
As a result of the assembly, all these details make it possible to obtain a fully autonomous robot.
Unlike the initial WeDo robotics, the Mindstorms Level 2 Robotics course has more technical creativity and self-assembly, and the programs do not have a clear template that must be followed. Naturally there is a lesson plan, there are clearly defined topics, but due to age, children are given more freedom in solving mechanical problems and programming tasks.
A question that can often be heard from skeptics: Who programs robots? - Children. Children learn to program robots, this is the essence of this course. This happens in a special software environment.
If your child is interested in IT technologies, wants to develop in this direction and does not want to listen to boring lectures, then this course will be an ideal starting point for him.
We look forward to all the guys in the network of Kids&Robots Robotics Clubs.
