Robotics Arduino. IT education for children in Chernomorsk.
Your child is interested in IT and wants to attend additional IT lessons? Then sign up for IT lessons at Kids & Robots Robotics Club Network. Especially for children who want to learn programming languages and go deep into a more detailed study of algorithms from early childhood we have created a completely new unique course “Arduino Robotics”.
The main plus of the course is that no training is required. Children receive all the knowledge and skills during the lessons “Robotics Arduino”. The course is ideal for children from 12 to 15 years. The IT course for children “Arduino Robotics” includes 36 lessons, each lesson lasts 1 hour 30 minutes.
What is Arduino?
Arduino is a small board, its dimensions are approximately equal to a box of matches. Feature of this card is that it has its own processor and memory. But that’s not all, there are several dozen contacts on the board to which children will connect a variety of elements:
- motors;
- sensors;
- light bulbs;
- routers;
- magnetic door locks.
and other elements powered by electricity that children will interact with in class.
How does processor work?
In order to start working with the Arduino processor, you need to load a program into it that will manage all of the above devices using a pre-written algorithm. With the help of the processor, the guys will create various unique gadgets. What is the most interesting, the number of algorithms for future gadgets is unlimited.
Each gadget will be independently implemented by your children, according to their individual idea. All algorithms will be written by children on their own, but if difficulties arise when writing, the teachers of Kids & Robots Robotics Club Network will be happy to help solve them.
Future course program:
• What is a microcontroller and an overview of the Arduino programming language;
•How to teach an electronic board to think;
• How to manage Arduino: development environment;
• Electronic components;
• What is electricity: voltage and current;
• How to tame electricity: resistor, diode, LED;
• What are sensors;
• Analog and Digital Signals;
• Assembling a Mobile Robot;
• What is a software interface;
