Early development at pgt Avangart. Mechanics. Basics for children 4-5 years old

When we hear the concept: “Early development of children”, usually any parent at this moment imagines how the child learns to read or write. However, did you know that in addition to basic knowledge, children of the 21st century should study technical sciences?

Why is it necessary to introduce children to the technical sciences at early development lessons in the pgt Avanguard?

The answer to this question only at first glance seems complicated, but when you look around and see a lot of different mechanisms, the answer to the question will immediately become obvious.

At each lesson of the course Mechanics. Basics, children get acquainted with the following mechanisms around us: a car, a swing, a windship, a windmill, a crane and more. In total, during the school year, small engineers moving from simple concepts and designs to more complex ones will assemble 36 different mechanisms. By assembling the mechanism, the child will find out how it is built, why it is necessary, what benefits people bring and what physical phenomena can affect its performance.

In addition to technical knowledge, children also develop the following skills that will help them achieve success throughout their lives:

- Teamwork. In the digital age, this skill is one of the most important. In our lessons, children learn to make new acquaintances, interact with each other, hear, and most importantly listen to the opinions of others and express their point of view.
- Do not be afraid to make mistakes, and make decisions.
- Ability to conduct analysis.
- Solve simple tasks (with each new course the tasks will become more difficult).
- Take the initiative.

Also, the development of fine motor skills, perseverance, imagination, logical, creative and critical thinking can be added to the above skills.

And even if in the future the young engineer decides that he does not like the technical sciences, the basic knowledge gained in the lessons of Mechanics. The basics will remain with him and will be able to help in understanding such new lessons as computer science, physics, geometry, mathematics and stereometry.
